She had learnt this from talbot, two of his inventions related to photography: the "photogenic drawing" technique (in which objects are placed onto light-senstized paper and the paper is exsposed to the sun light and then produces the image of what your object was) and calotype.
She had access to a camera by the year of 1841. Anna was also the first female photographer. Within a year, cyanotype photographic process was invented, this was in 1842, the person who invented this was called Sir John Herschel. While progressing the skill on the way, Anna self-published her in photograms the first installment of photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype impressions in October, 1843. But when she published the book she only had a limited number of copies, which had written text. Photographs of british algae: Cyanotype impressions is considered to be the first book illustrated with photographic images. Later in life Anna Atkins collaborated with Anne Dixon. They produced three presentation albums of cyanotype photograms.
My Cyanotypes
My first Cyanotype went well, you can see the different's objects within the image. For example: bracelet, tap, film canister...etc.

My second picture came out bad. You can't see the objects clearly. It looks like a image of straight lines and curved lines as well, but it still doesn't tell what the objects are.
